CHEEKY

Stubbs & Wootton, well known pedigreed purveyors of the super preppy velvet slipper shoe has had a grand, old, sublime, "WHAT??!" moment.  Apparently, they don't take themselves too seriously, and neither should you!

Something mad on top of something very good... (see Bennison quote at right--->)  Or is it just wrong that I like these?

Via Stubbs & Wootton, $375.

My husband loves S & W. Wore some last night actually....with scorpions embroidered on them. I had a friend in Houston that had a custom pair. One said SUC the other said KME.

These are cute and funny I must admit. Though I'd prefer just a plain black velvet pair (though also burgundy or blue too), but S&W is too associated with Palm Beach preppy thing.

...we know next to nothing about preppy culture so we were wondering instead if you were familiar with Jon Fluevog. Could not live without his boots...

Jill- HAHA! Maybe S&W will appropriate those babies for production next?

Seraph + Splendor- Funny you should mention Fluevog... I've had my eye on their Silverlake boots (no-actually, hooves) for a while now. I need to just break down and buy them, but now they're making them in a lace up, bastardized form of a sandal and I don't know which I like more. Decisions, decisions.

I think this line-up would make a fantastic greeting card. Or perhaps sticky notes?

...let us know what you decide - you can never have too many Fluevogs...an expensive habbit...damn
